Sergio Ramos: Zidane Is Not Afraid; We Will Support Him Until the End

The Royal Club lost to Mallorca in the domestic championship on Saturday. The team is scheduled to play against Galatasaray only three days later, on Tuesday. It will be Madrid’s third match in the esteemed competition in this year’s campaign. They will be looking for their first win after having previously lost and got one point in the first two rounds.

Due to the poor results, there have been a lot of rumours recently about the potential departure of the French expert.

Everyone knows we will give everything for Zidane, that we are with him until the end. Whatever happens, we will show that we believe in him and his method. Zidane is not afraid of anything; he knows this club and the principle by which it works. It is clear that it all depends on the results, but he deserves respect for everything he did for Real, Ramos noted.

We are all calm. We want to win on Tuesday, and that’s all we care about. We’re in the process of changing the little things, but we’re not going to let it stop us. Despite everything that happens, we know we want to win.

When asked about the rumours about Jose Mourinho’s return to Santiago Bernabeu, Ramos said that We have to be in ours, we cannot manipulate the opinion of the people. Zizou is cured of horror and knows the house, the day to day and the level of demand. We depend on the results and have no influence at the coach level. I think we should live outside the praise and criticism because it would be conditioned. Football goes so fast that you cannot stay anchored in any statement or opinion. The wand is different for some coaches and players. It would be easy to say that Zizou will continue until the end of the season, but football depends on results.

The match between Galatasaray and Real Madrid is scheduled for Tuesday at 9 pm. The Royal Club is currently the last in the Group A standings, with only one point.
